| In 2002 an Army brat and aspiring singer exploded on the charts with a harmonious, innovative debut album entitled All I Have. Girlish, fierce, sexy and sweet, All I Have spawned the smash "Why Don't We Fall In Love" (produced by a then under-the-radar Rich Harrison) and let it be known that the new breed of hip hop/soul's chief practitioner was a 22-year-old, DC beauty named Amerie. |

I have seen Aerosmith numerous times all over the country and I have only one thing to say about this show, it was by far the one of the highest energy shows they have had in years. The show started a bit late due to heavy snow, but Lenny Kravitz came out ready to start things out with a bang.
“Where Are We running”, “Dig In” and “American Women” got everyone on their feet along with an amazing trombone solo by Shorty who appears to be no more than 18 years old. Lenny continued to strut his stuff and playing the hits. He completed his 45min set with “Are You Gonna Go My Way” to which the audience completely agreed. During the intermission many of Lenny’s band members made the rounds on the floor signing autographs and taking photos with their many fans, a nice gesture for many.
Aerosmith hit the stage with more energy than you could imagine for a group of guys who are no longer youngsters. “Helter Skelter” opened the show and Steven and the boys looked like they were ready for some fun. Steven and Joe made great use of the 2 catwalks to make sure everyone on the floor got a personal show and the fans were going crazy. The boys brought out many classics such as “Seasons of Wither”, “SOS” and “Same Old Song & Dance” along with the pop favorites “Cryin”, Walk This Way” and “Dream On”. During Joe Perry’s guitar solo, 3 or 4 female fans had to be chased down and removed from the catwalk so Joe could finish without be attacked which kept security along with the bands crew, quite busy.
No matter how many times this fan has seen Aerosmith, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of energy that these 5 gentlemen could put out night after night. They closed the evening with “Draw The Line” and a final bow including many of their crew, a sight not seen in earlier shows on this leg of the tour. When a band get’s out there and has fun, the crowd can’t help but follow along.
