| In 2002 an Army brat and aspiring singer exploded on the charts with a harmonious, innovative debut album entitled All I Have. Girlish, fierce, sexy and sweet, All I Have spawned the smash "Why Don't We Fall In Love" (produced by a then under-the-radar Rich Harrison) and let it be known that the new breed of hip hop/soul's chief practitioner was a 22-year-old, DC beauty named Amerie. |

DJ/Producer Beverly Bond first came to New York when she was 17 years old to pursue a modeling career. She began her career at Elite New Faces, then later enjoyed a lucrative career at Wilhelmma, modeling for clients such as Diesel Jeans, Guess, Nike, Nordstroms, Dockers, MTV, Lady Foot Locker and Virginia Slims.
Although happy with her career as a model, Beverly's first love has always been music. Back home in Maryland, she grew up listening to various genres of music such as jazz, blues, world beat, soul and hip-hop.
Following in her mother's footsteps, she became a serious record collector at an early age. She decided that the best way to express her affinity towards music was to become a DJ, where she could combine the symphonies and sounds of the entire world of music at her fingertips.
She had hopes of spinning at small local clubs just for fun Little did she know that within a years time she would become one of New York's top DJs, spinning at major events such as the the VHI Fashion Awards, The Glamour Fashion Awards, The CFDA Awards, ESPN's X-Games Awards, D'Angelo's "Voodoo" Album Release Party, The Chanel Parties and The NY Planet Hollywood opening. She also appeared as a celebrity DJ at Eileen Ford's "Super Model of The World" contest in Puerto Rico.
She's spun for high profile clients such as Playboy, Hugo Boss, Puff Daddy, Kirnora Lee, Veronica Webb and Andre Harell, and has toured the states with Sunshine Anderson and Musiq Soulchild as the official DJ for the Courvoisier tour. She appeared on BET's Rap City's "The Basement" and spins at New York's most exclusive night clubs.
DJ Beverly Bond continues to make waves both in the commercial and underground music worlds, as well as in the fashion world. As a result of her musical expertise, Russell Simmons' One World Magazine recently gave Beverly a lifestyles column where she will profile various artist. She is widely known and respected for her music knowledge, unabashed versatility, skill, and unique style. Whether she's spinning in the Hamptons or holdin' down the club circuit. She never fails to keep her crowd coming back for more. |
