| In 2002 an Army brat and aspiring singer exploded on the charts with a harmonious, innovative debut album entitled All I Have. A wordsmith and every inch a performer, JUICE is beginning to emerge as the embodiment of a new generation of urban storytellers. He is smooth, honest and an authentic MC. Born Jason Rochester to Jamaican and Dominican parents, JUICE stands at a dominating 6”2. Blessed with a powerful voice to match his frame, he leaves an impression every time he rhymes or even steps onto a stage.
Indeed, JUICE has been steadily gaining notoriety across Toronto for his electric live show. His contagious charisma coupled with a clear diction is winning the young artist new fans after every performance.
JUICE gained widespread recognition when “MuchMusic” commissioned him to appear in their promotional campaign for the launch of their urban video station “MuchVibe”. JUICE also raised his profile when he created the theme song for “Basketball City” on Sportsnet/Raptors Television as well as being featured as an on-air talent.
The winner of Universal Music Canada’s “My Block” remix contest, JUICE’s song “Too Long” featuring FOUNDATION brethren MHEDIKC and JAROD will be on vinyl to be distributed by Universal Canada. JUICE is also the winner of Toronto based commercial radio station Flow 93.5 fm’s first ever “Soul Search”.
JUICE was also recently hired on as the campaign face for Bata Canada/Athlete’s World’s “The World Is Yours” national campaign. The campaign focuses on building an authentic connection between one of the country’s top athletic retail chains and the powerful urban market. The campaign employs the country’s most promising young people in urban music and culture.
JUICE is the debut artist to emerge from FOUNDATION Creative Group; a Toronto based collective dedicated to developing the city’s most gifted young talent.
Comprised of Public Management, Street Level Imaging, Tone Mason and World Rydah Studios.
Produced by Toronto production collective Tone Mason, JUICE masters the most innovative of beats. Boasting an incredible range, he relishes all challenges. R&B, Hip-Hop or 2-Step, JUICE confidently shines on everything he is handed.
Priding himself on two things: his skill and his work ethic, JUICE has all the elements to leave an indelible mark on the urban music industry. The voice, the look, the content and a forceful stage presence, JUICE possesses all of these.
With his debut album slated to drop in august of 2003, JUICE is ready to change the way Canadian hip-hop is perceived and make his presence felt across the globe.
