Debuting at number one on the Billboard charts, The Recession is Young is Jeezy’s newest release. The first single Put On, which features Kanye West, jettisoned to the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot Rap chart, as well as topping the R&B charts. The song also gained Young Jeezy and Kanye West a nomination for Collabo of the Year at the 2008 Online Hip Hop awards.

Profile: Gym Class Heroes

The Quilt, Gym Class Heroes' follow up to their gold-selling first release, climbed straight to the top of the charts the week it came out. Released in early September, the CD features guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, K-OS and Busta Rhymes. A headliner this summer on the Vans Warped Tour, the band will once again hit the road in October, playing dates throughout the US.
